We are overwhelmed with joy to share one of our favorite places on earth with you! Each day, we have an opportunity to connect and embark on an adventure with the Bride and Groom.

We recognize that five days is a significant amount of time away. Maybe you can't swing five days, or it is possible you want to experience Big Sky in a totally different way! Therefore, we have provided you with a ton of adventure time. Nothing on this itinerary is mandatory for you to attend, but of course, we would love to see you as many times as possible!

Time: 5:00 PM

Let's warm up before the big day! This welcome party is much more casual than the common rehearsal dinner. It will be an open house-style event, meaning you can come and go as you please.

We are aware that many of you have had changes to your flights. This event will run well into the evening (9:00-10:00) so please feel free to swing through!

This event will be paired up with Big Sky's incredible Farmers Market that runs 5:00-8:00, so feel free to grab a drink, a bite to eat, and walk around the town center!

This party will be a fun opportunity for everyone to celebrate safe travels and finally be in Big Sky with family, friends, and new friends! Together, we get to celebrate the fun adventure ahead! This event will include food, beverages, stories, and toasts!

What does Western Casual Mean: Think relaxed Western vibes, denim, boots, sundresses, and button-downs are all fair game! Feel free to show off your favorite cowboy hat or a touch of fringe if you’re feeling festive. No need for anything too formal...comfort is key, but feel free to have fun with the Western theme!

Live Music Under the Big Sky

Taylor and Lauren love live music and we know many of you do, too! There’s no better way to soak in the spirit of Big Sky than with good tunes, great food, and the incredible local community.

Join us for Music in the Mountains, Montana’s premier free outdoor concert series. For over a decade, this beloved tradition has brought rising stars and renowned artists to the stage all set against a stunning mountain backdrop.

The Details:

- Park opens at 6:00 PM

- Band - The Big Richard Band

- Music starts around 7:00 -7:30PM

- Rotating food & drink vendors on site

- Location: Big Sky Town Center

- Time: 6:30 PM – Evening

The Unofficial Theme:

As the planning has unfolded, it turns out everyone is leaning into their best denim-on-denim looks. Totally optional, but if you’re feeling the vibe, throw on your Canadian tuxedo and join the fun!

What to Bring:

If you’d like to sit during the concert, feel free to bring a blanket, towel, or chair. We’ll be gathering near the back of the lawn in a standing area, so come ready to mingle, dance, and enjoy the night!

After Party – Let’s Keep It Rolling!

If you’re not ready to call it a night, Tips Up is the place to be! Head over after the show to keep the good vibes going with late-night drinks, games, and maybe even some dance floor action. We’ll see you there, boots optional, fun guaranteed.

Time: 2:30 PM

Due to no parking on the mountain, we will be shuttling all guests. You can either park your car at The Summit OR park at Free Skiier Parking and walk (roughly 5 mins).The shuttle service will begin at The Summit Hotel at 1:00 and will transport guests on a 10 minute trip up the mountain to the Hastings Cabin.


There is only ONE shuttle so please be patient and note that we are going to be waiting for the shuttle to be at least 3/4 of the way full before departing. The shuttle can hold 30 guests.


After the ceremony it is important that the FIRST SHUTTLE DOWN the mountain is reserved for those guests who have been invited to have a moment with the bride and groom down at The Summit. Please work with everyone to ensure those guests are on the first shuttle down.


Once that shuttle has dropped those guests off, it will return to the Hastings Cabin and commute the remaining guests to the Summit Hotel to enjoy the cocktail party.


We are so excited to say “I do” with the stunning mountains of Big Sky as our backdrop. This will be an outdoor ceremony filled with love, laughter, and a few happy tears.

The Hastings Cabin will be fully set and ready for you upon arrival. Enjoy welcome beverages, light snacks, and plenty of photo ops before the ceremony begins. There will be ample space to mingle, explore, and settle in.

After the ceremony, as we all work together to head back down the mountain via the shuttle system, feel free to make yourself at home and hang out, no rush, just good vibes.

We’re blending elegance with Montana charm ...think elevated Western style. Here’s what that looks like:

For Women:

- Fitted or flowy dress, cocktail length or longer

- Boots or dressy western-inspired shoes

- Statement jewelry, hats (duhhhh but optional), or other fun western accessories

For Men:

- Dress shirts with slacks or dark denim

- Sport coats, vests, or a bolo tie if you're feelin’ it

- Clean boots or dress shoes and of course cowboy hats are welcome!

For those of you who want to stay out a tad longer on the resort without traveling down to Big Sky Town Center we will head to Scissorbills Saloon for an after party. It is open until 12:00am.

Carl is hosting a casual gathering at the Hastings Cabin, and you’re invited! This is a relaxed, come-as-you-are hangout, not mandatory by any means, but a fun way to spend time together sharing stories and photos from the big day!

There will be food, drinks, and games for everyone to enjoy, and plenty of space to unwind, mingle, and soak in the mountain views.

There’s nothing officially on the schedule for Sunday, just coffee, hugs, and maybe one last mountain view before hitting the road.
